Gakii Biriri has been been nominated for the Nelson Mandela - Graca Machel Youth Innovation Award. Below is a message from her. I am ovelwhelmed with both excitement and renewed humility. Excited because this is yet another platform that the children we work with get a better chance at life by our work with AHI being recognized and our credibility increasing. Humbled because I know that none of this is by my strength, it is by the support of an amazing team and family and friends who believe in what we do and come through all the time and most importantly, God.
